Programa Focus Turismo

GOALS

The program will furnish participants with the knowledge, tools and models to improve their tourism business’s management and value generation, and to identify opportunities for entrepreneurship and investment.

This program has been developed by the EDEM management team in collaboration with José M. Nácher, an esteemed professor at the University of Valencia. The teachers are entrepreneurs, businesspeople and professionals with extensive experience in Tourism, and with different areas of expertise.

ATTENDANCE

In order to obtain a certificate one must attend at least 80% of the classes and successfully complete the final course project.

METHODOLOGY

The program’s content is structured in 3 blocks:

Management areas

A look at companies’ main management areas, to understand how an organization operating in the Tourism sector is organized internally, from the global perspective of the management

Business Models

Learning about various business management models in Tourism, through case studies and visits to leading entities in the sector

Entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurship in tourism, taking into account key factors, such as the planning of activities and the management of events, with real cases, shared by the people actually involved

WHO IS IT FOR?

  • Entrepreneurs, managers and professionals at tourism organizations that need to have a global and strategic vision that helps them with their decisionmaking.
  • Entrepreneurs who want to identify an opportunity for entrepreneurship and investment in Tourism.

  • All those professionals, executives and managers who want to give their careers a boost and specialize in the management of Tourism businesses.

CALENDAR

Location
The course will be held at the EDEM’s facilities, located at:
Marina de València (Muelle de la Aduana s n).

Duration and schedule

Duration: 45 hours (10 sessions of 4.5 hours each).

Schedule: Eight Mondays and two Tuesdays, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., including the coffee-break with the teachers.

Dates: From September 23rd to December 2nd, 2019.

Price: €1,800
